I’m Sudarshan—a product designer who swapped code for pixels, and a Bangalore boy through and through. I currently whip up design magic at HackerRank, the go-to platform for developer skills, where I lead the design for one of the core product pillars – Screen.

Design is my jam, especially when it’s all about human-centered innovation. I thrive on making products that look great and work even better. I’m the kind of guy who can’t resist taking a process apart just to rebuild it stronger, faster and more efficient. My insatiable curiosity drives me to keep learning, so I can make the world (or at least the products we use) a better place.

My engineering degree might say one thing, but my real design chops came from Hover Studio—my very own "design school." As Tarantino once said, "I never went to film school, I went to films." That’s how I learned design—by diving in headfirst. For a couple of years, I ran Hover Studio with a talented team of designers and developers, catering to businesses around the globe.

When I’m not deep in Figma, you’ll find me on a relentless hunt for the best dosa or ramen in town (no distance is too far for great food). I’m also that guy who enjoys playing badminton, watches Tarantino films with cult-like devotion, and writes music that you can check out on Instagram, if you’re curious.
